I have a large dome and have trouble finding helmets and hats that fit properly. I've worn auto-racing and motorcycle helmets for years (I used to sell them as well) and know the product and how it's supposed to fit. My large and longish knob is hard to fit but the unique suspension in this helmet makes it fit right away. A turn of the adjusting wheel and all is comfy and snug as it should be. I've experience no "hot spots", which usually feel like someone drove a spike into my forehead, and no other discomfort. The helmet runs quite cool and I experienced no overheating or other discomfort.
I've never understood the wild and just plain silly shapes of most helmets; most look to me like expensive substitutes for a tinfoil hat to repel "the voices" and most seem to offer very little in the way of protection for the occipital region of the skull. This may be a question of perspective, but this helmet feels more like a helmet than some kind of colored beany sitting perched on the top of my head.
Buy one; it's a good product.

Value - Appropriately priced, great deal for your money. I enjoy the aesthetics of this product in relation to its safety and function.
Performance - Works great for short rides in the city, have not tested this item on long treks.
Ease of Use - Adjustment of helmet-ratcheting system is just a wheel, and is really simple to use. The chinstrap and the buckle mechanism is standard and a breeze to adjust.
Features - the In-Form fit system is really stable and comfortable, the internal channeling makes for a good deal of airflow, and the compression-molded padding is firm but not abrasive or hard.
Criticism - This helmet tends to ride higher than one would think but that is because of it's safety features. It is a safety helmet after all, not a hat. Other than this one comment, I have no complaints!
Overall - Comfy, cool, and considerably inexpensive . . . This helmet rules. Buy one.

My old helmet was the typical turtle shell/racing design. Nice, but ugly. I found this helmet and I fell in love with the pattern and the flowers. I also have not only a blue bike, but a brown one, and this helmet matches them both. I will warn people that the Small size is very small- closer to older child/pre-teen size- I tried this style on in the store to see how it would fit- the small fit, but it was extremely tight and on the loosest setting; I usually wear an adult small helmet, but I found that the Adult Medium in the Giro Surface fits perfectly with the dial adjustment. I have received nothing but compliments on this helmet.
